Back in the early 1950’s a family constructed a simple concrete block cabin. A decade later another cement addition was added. Fast forward to today and the cabin, is still in the original family, but desperately needed a makeover and overall modernization. When confronted with a project that holds cherished family memories, I am always interested in maintaining a vestige of the original structure and in this case, it helps maintain a connection with the summer days and nights, swimming in the lake and campfires on the banks; a true family retreat, complete with wonderful memories.
